MY PAPA

My dad is a great dad- He has been living all over England for the past 8 months. He just got home a week ago to spend the holidays with us, then off he goes again! Hopefully after Christmas Jimmy and I will make it over there to visit him and tour England since my schooling is down to one more crazy month is all!
This is me and my dad December 2009! Love him to pieces, we sure do miss him since we dont get to see him often.
PS: The Nice Blue Christmas sweater is my grandfathers who past away 12 years ago, and my dad wanted to make a point that he could fit in it since my grandpa got it when he was in his early teenage years! and yes he fit in it :)!!

Okay so yes...I will really try to keep updating my blog... NO PROMISES.
Here is a picture of Jimmy and I on Thanksgiving this year!! Holidays are the best...MINUS the DARN SNOW! I could totally do without it! Nothing to exciting happening around here. I have a nice break from the semester this month, take some time to breathe! Jimmy will be spending the month hunting im sure, because he starts working in Iowa in January. WE will soak up the holidays the best we can together!!

I bet no one even wondered where we had gone....Okay im admitting since i joined the facebook world my blog as been left in the dust. I will try harder!
WHAT HAVE THE SMITH'S BEEN UP TO....
Well not much:
I just finished up my first semester of my RN year, only 4 more months to go!! HORRAY well than I will apply to the BSN program its never ending you know!
The past few months have been busy and interesting to say the least. I got a promotion at my job!! I turned 24 in November! One of my best Friends got married...Congrates Mike and Jessy! I've stayed busy with school and work mostly.
Jimmy has been busy working...when he isnt working he is hunting or doing whatever he possibly can outdoors!
I will post pix after the holidays as a catch up..Cause its been forever!

2 year anniversary and Jimmys 25th Bday!!

August is always a busy month. We had our 2 year anniversary on the 7th!! and Jimmy turned the big 25 on the 9th!! So we always get to celebrate close together. We decided to keep it low key this year, We headed down south. We got a wonderful couples massage, played at the pool, ate yummy sushi and hibachi, and shopped till we dropped on our anniversary!! We had a big pool party at our good friends house back in St.George for Jimmy's bday. I love him so much, and i cant wait for all the years to come!! Now, for August. Ashley is finishing up school and working full time starting the 24th of this month...BLA BLA BLA. Jimmy will be traveling A LOT starting in October back to Iowa for a big job. SAD :( Good thing I will be super busy, because i cant stand being a part from him. Well Here's to another great year!!

ANACORTES-SAN JUAN ISLANDS 2009

Jimmy and I went to Anacortes / San Juan Islands / Seattle...for a quick visit to see the Orca whales. We both have done our fair share of whale watching, but neither or us have seen the Orca whales in the wild...WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE. The scenery is BEAUTIFUL!! And the whales were breath taking! We took the ferry back and forth to the islands and stayed in the little historic town of Friday Harbor and Anacortes! We stopped in Seattle at Pikes Market to bring us back some FRESH seafood!! What a great time!!

4th of July weekend

The fourth of July is my Favorite Holiday!! I love the summer, I love family traditions, Fireworks, BBQs...ITS THE BEST!! This year we did the traditional Hyrum parade with the whole extended family than back to my grandmas for a great BBQ!! Sunday we meet up with our bestie friends meg and sean and went to the new waterpark in Draper...Cowabunga Bay!! What an amazing weekend!!

McCalls Graduation!!

Congrates to my adorable little sister McCall she is now officially graduated from high school and on to the BIG REAL WORLD!! She is very talented and smart...She is going to be attending Utah State and Cheering as a Utah State Cheerleader!! She is very talented and was 1 of 2 new girls they put on the squad...Hats of to her!!
We love her and are very proud of all her accomplishments.
